I've been helping individuals, families, and business owners finance homes since 2002. As a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer with Independent Bank, NMLS #400565, I serve borrowers throughout West Michigan and across Michigan, with offices in Standale and Hudsonville.

I also assist clients in Indiana, Illinois, North Carolina, and Florida, often when past clients relocate, purchase a second home, refer family members, or want to continue working with a lender they already know and trust.

The right mortgage strategy is about more than choosing a loan program. It can affect cash flow, timing, long-term goals, investment plans, business decisions, and how comfortably someone moves into the next stage of life. My role is to help clients see the full picture, understand their options, and choose a path that fits their goals.

I work with first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, construction borrowers, self-employed business owners, physicians, veterans, retirees, and real estate investors. Some clients have straightforward financing needs, and I believe those should stay straightforward. Others need deeper analysis because of self-employment income, multiple businesses, investment properties, retirement income, or a more complex financial picture.

My experience includes conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, construction-to-permanent, renovation, investment property, bank statement, DSCR, physician, portfolio, refinance, and HELOC financing. Clients often tell me they appreciate my direct communication, educational approach, and ability to solve problems without creating unnecessary complexity.

My wife and I have three children, and West Michigan has been home for many years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring remote places, traveling, and pursuing new challenges. I'm also committed to community involvement and helping individuals and families better understand home financing.
