What do I need to open a business account?
- All applicant(s) will need to provide their Social Security number, date of birth, occupation, and physical address. Applicant(s) must be an authorized officer of the business and a U.S. resident.
- The business should be legally formed in the U.S. and have operations in Michigan.
- The applicant(s) will need to provide the legal business name, address, business tax ID number, the date the business was established, as well as any supplemental business documents requested.
- New deposit account applications are subject to management review and may be approved or declined at the Bank’s discretion
Will I be able to request a debit card with my business account?
Yes, a free business debit card is included with your account.

*If eStatements are not selected, or an average daily balance of $1,000 or greater is not obtained, a $10/month service fee will be assessed. The first 500 items (including checks/paid debits, deposits/credits, and deposited items) processed each month are free. Any additional items will incur a fee of $0.50 per item. Currency and coin deposits are free for the first $25,000 deposited each month. For deposits between $25,001 and $50,000, a fee of $1.50 per $1,000 will apply. For deposits exceeding $50,000, the same $1.50 per $1,000 fee applies. Accounts are subject to standard account opening guidelines. Other fees and restrictions may apply.
