To Qualify, the Following Eligibility Requirements Must be Met

  • Must purchase a primary residence in Calhoun County, Michigan. 
  • Qualifying income at or below 120% of the county’s HUD Area Median Income (AMI), based on household size
  • Pre-purchase counseling required
  • Financing provided by Independent Bank
  • Minimum $1,000 borrower contribution required
  • The grant must be used for down payment and/or closing costs.
