Independent Bank Corporation Announces New Regional President Leadership Structure

Independent Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: IBCP), the holding company of Independent Bank, a Michigan-based community bank, announced the creation of two new Regional President roles within its Commercial Banking structure, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to strong local leadership, relationship-based growth and continued service to customers and communities across Michigan.

Kyle Johns has been appointed Regional President, East Michigan, providing leadership for the Bay City, Saginaw, Thumb, Clinton Township, Novi and Troy commercial teams. Dan Plumert has been appointed Regional President, West Michigan, providing leadership for the Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lakeshore, Lansing and Traverse City commercial teams.This new leadership structure reflects Independent Bank’s intentional alignment of markets, teams and strategic priorities as the organization continues to grow. In their new roles, Johns and Plumert will lead market-level relationship development, strengthen community engagement, foster collaboration across business lines and help ensure consistent execution of Independent Bank’s strategic goals.
