Independent Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: IBCP), the holding company of Independent Bank, a Michigan-based community bank, announced that it has promoted Josh Meyers to Senior Vice President, Operations at Independent Bank.
Mr. Meyers earned his Bachelor’s in Business and Accounting from Aquinas College in 2008. He brings 12 years of financial services experience, all of which have been with Independent Bank. He started with the Bank in Operations, before moving to Risk Management, where he has worked for the last ten years, most recently managing the Retail Risk function.
He looks forward to continuing his work with Independent Bank, as he brings strong systems knowledge, analytical skills, and management experience to his new role.
