Independent Bank Corporation, the holding company of Independent Bank, a Michigan-based community bank, announced that it has hired Joane E. VanLuven as Senior Vice President – Human Resources.
Ms. VanLuven has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Aquinas College, as well as her Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She previously served as Senior Director of Human Resources, as well as Vice President of Global Total Rewards at Wolverine Worldwide. In 2014, she launched VanLuven Consulting, PC where she provided business consulting and legal services, specializing in Human Resources. Ms. VanLuven brings an extensive background in Human Resources as she joins the Independent Bank team.
