Ben Stone, CTP, ACPFIM

Ben Stone serves as First Vice President on Independent Bank’s Government Banking team, specializing in banking, investment, and treasury management solutions for public sector clients in east Michigan. He has worked with government entities in this capacity for more than 25 years.

Ben holds the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation from the Association for Financial Professionals and the Advanced Public Funds Investment Manager (ACPFIM) certification from the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada. He is actively involved in numerous national, state, and local municipal and school business organizations and has served on boards and committees for many of these groups.
