Kathleen Karczewski

Kathleen Karczewski is a commercial banking leader with over two decades of experience across East Michigan. Before coming to Independent Bank, she served as Senior Vice President at Huntington National Bank, where she was involved in a high‑performing business banking teams, drove strategic market initiatives, and oversaw comprehensive client growth across lending, deposits, treasury management, and wealth services.

Prior to Huntington Bank, she held a similar role with PNC Bank. Staying involved in numerous advisory committees, leadership roles, mentoring groups, and business development has always been a top focus. She is a graduate of Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan where she obtained a bachelor’s degree. When she is not keeping busy with Independent Bank you can find her spending time with her family and friends.
