To further protect you and your account, Independent Bank will offer a newly enhanced Fraud Protection Service beginning July 15, 2016.
In the unlikely event we detect potentially fraudulent debit card transaction(s) on your account, you will receive a real-time interactive text message, phone call, and/or email asking you to verify the validity of the transaction(s). We will ONLY ask you to verify transaction(s) via a text message or email, but if we contact you by phone, you will need to verify additional information such as your birth date and zip code. Keeping you protected is important to us, and we are excited to offer this newly enhanced service to you!
What You Need To Know:
To ensure we have the most up-to-date information, please confirm your mobile phone number and your email address by speaking with a representative at an Independent Bank office, OR sign in to online banking to verify or update your information. Once logged in, click the Customer Service tab and navigate down to Manage Contact Information.
