Jason Blain is Vice President of Commercial Loans at Independent Bank in Traverse City, MI and is committed to serving as a trusted advisor to his clients. Prior to joining Independent Bank, Jason was Vice President, Business Development Manager of Chemical Bank’s tax credit equity division and Vice President of Commercial Lending with Chemical Bank. Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from Lake Superior State University and his MBA from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. He is a Board member of the Father Fred Foundation, member of the Michigan Historic Preservation Network’s Preservation Incentives Committee, and a youth hockey coach.
