Data theft has been in the news again lately, but you can trust that we are keeping your accounts safe and secure. Independent Bank has tested all of its systems against the “Heartbleed” vulnerability, an Internet security threat that has recently compromised personal information used on many websites. Our security team has determined that our customers’ information is safe. Our website, Independent Mobile app, and online banking website are not vulnerable to this attack.
