Independent Bank’s Williamston team volunteers for Habitat for Humanity
May 13, 2013
A group of associates from Independent Bank’s Williamston office volunteered as part of Habitat for Humanity’s National Women Build Week at the city parking lot in Williamston on May 5. Independent Bank was a sponsor for the event that helped raise money to build homes in Ingham County.
Banking Office Manager Erika Hoppes said, “We spent the day building a shed that will be auctioned off at the Red Cedar Jubilee in June. The proceeds from the sale of the shed will benefit Habitat for Humanity.”
The Red Cedar Jubilee, which features events and games for children of all ages, will be held on June 17-23 in Williamston.
