Visa® Debit Card

As of June 2, as part of our transition from Visa to MasterCard, we will no longer be issuing new Visa debit cards. Current customers with Visa Debit cards will have their cards replaced during June and July, and will have 60 days from receipt of their new card to activate it. While we have customers with both Visa and MasterCard debit cards, we’ll be communicating with all customers so you’ll know when you’re getting a new card, how to activate it, and what your new benefits will be. The process should be seamless, but we’re always here to answer your debit card transition questions.

Maximum protection

Visa’s Zero Liability Policy* means 100% protection. If your card is ever used fraudulently, you’ll pay nothing for unauthorized purchases. Independent Bank’s Visa debit card is more secure than ever with new tools from Visa, including an enrollment process for Verified by Visa (VBV) to provide more security when you make online purchases.
