Independent Bank offices in Eaton County recently challenged each other to gather the most donations for the athletic programs at their local schools. As part of the challenge, each office developed unique fundraisers; for example, the Vermontville office hosted a bake sale and the Potterville office sold footballs. Their efforts amounted in a total donation of $1,553.88 for the athletic programs of schools in Eaton County.
“I would like to thank everyone who participated and donated. At Independent Bank, we believe it’s important to be involved and to give back to our communities. The challenge was a fun way to create a friendly competition to help the schools in Eaton County,” said Denise Wheaton senior vice president at Independent Bank.
