The Independent Bank offices in Bay City and Saginaw participated in a 5K walk on Saturday, October 27 in support of “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” at the Saginaw Krossroads Park.
Together, the Bay City and Saginaw offices raised $5,250.79, which was donated to the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” event. Tara Binder, customer service representative of the Bay City Main office presented the donation to Heidi Varner, a community representative.
“We would like to extend our thanks to the Bay and Saginaw area communities and the many volunteers for their support,” said Jennifer Nutt, banking office manager of Independent Bank.
