Independent Bank is working to help Belding area children and community members through several programs this holiday season. Currently, Independent Bank is hosting a food drive for a local food pantry to collect items for families in need. It is also an official Toys for Tots location.

Donations of nonperishable food items may be dropped of at Independent Bank’s Corporate Deposit Office at 600 Covered Village Mall in Belding by November 24. Toys for Tots donations may be dropped off at the Corporate Deposit Office in the Covered Village Mall or the Belding banking office located at 130 South Bridge St. before December 14.

Independent Bank’s Deposit Operations team also recently completed a hat and mitten drive for Belding Public Schools. “At Independent Bank, we feel fortunate to have the opportunity to give back to our community,” said Sandy Dine, Independent Bank’s vice president of Deposit Operations.
