Independent Bank offices across the state collected donations for Boy Scouts of America to support “Operation Popcorn,” during the month of December. The program raises money for the Boy Scouts and sends popcorn to our troops overseas for the holidays.

Independent Bank offices across the state participated and over $5,580 was raised. The donations will be given to the Boy Scouts of America so that they can purchase the popcorn from Trail’s End and send it to troops overseas.

“I am very pleased with the support our associates and communities showed for this program. We are proud to support our youth as well as our troops,” said CEO Michael M. Magee Jr. For more information on Operation Popcorn, visit
