Independent Bank offices across the state collected donations for Boy Scouts of America to support “Operation Popcorn,” during the month of December. The program raises money for the Boy Scouts and sends popcorn to our troops overseas for the holidays.
Independent Bank offices across the state participated and raised over $2,760. The donations will be given to the Boy Scouts of America so that they can purchase the popcorn from Trail’s End and send it to troops overseas.
“Independent Bank is proud to be a part of a great program that benefits both the Boy Scouts and our troops, and we thank our associates and communities for their support,” said Chairman of the Board, Michael M. Magee Jr.
