Visa® Debit Card
As of June 2, as part of our transition from Visa to MasterCard, we will no longer be issuing new Visa business debit cards. Current customers with Visa business debit cards will have their cards replaced during June and July, and will have 60 days from receipt of their new card to activate it. While we have customers with both Visa and MasterCard debit cards, we’ll be communicating with all customers so you’ll know when you’re getting a new card, how to activate it, and what your new benefits will be. The process should be seamless, but we’re always here to answer your debit card transition questions.
Visa’s Zero Liability Policy* means 100% protection. If your card is ever used fraudulently, you’ll pay nothing for unauthorized purchases. Independent Bank’s Visa debit card is more secure than ever with new tools from Visa, including an enrollment process for Verified by Visa (VBV) to provide more security when you make online purchases.
Lost or stolen card?
If your ATM/ debit card is lost or stolen, call 888.300.3193 at any time, 24/7.
- If you know your card number, you may use the automated system. If you don’t know your card number, a representative will be happy to help.
- If you have additional questions, customer service representatives are also available Monday – Saturday from 8 am – 6 pm (EST) and Sunday from 10 am – 8 pm (EST).
- You may also visit any Independent Bank branch office to report your missing card. Our banking associates will be happy to assist you. Click here to find the nearest location.
