Independent Bank has announced the release of a new remote deposit capture offering for its business banking clients. Advantage Remote Deposit is a process that allows any size business, nonprofit or municipality to deposit checks into a bank account without having to deliver actual checks to the bank.
Remote deposit capture allows businesses to capture checks at their business location and then transmit data and the check images electronically to Independent Bank for posting and clearing. All that is needed is a PC, Internet connection and scanning device.
Independent Bank’s Advantage Remote Deposit tool allows businesses to deposit checks day or night, from an office or home. The transaction and validation are secure and fully automated. Multiple security levels and control make the process safer than physically transporting the checks to the bank. This Web-based solution allows businesses to:
